PDRI-DevLab is hosting a Spring 2024 Seminar Series featuring its staff and affiliates.

Topic: Preliminary Evidence from Two Research Projects: (1) “Effects of Inclusionary Policies on Social Identification: Survey Experimental Evidence from Pakistan’s Periphery” and “Women, Work and Well-Being: Survey Experimental Evidence on Jobs in Urban India”

Erik Wibbels

Erik Wibbels is the Presidential Penn Compact Professor of Political Science, founder of DevLab@Penn, and member of Penn’s Development Research Initiative. Current major projects include research the Machine Learning for Peace project, which measures and forecasts dynamics in civil society at high frequency; a series of field experiments on local accountability and civil society; and an initiative with the World Bank to understand the impact of refugees on the communities and politics of the places they arrive.
