In a year marked by threats to civic freedoms, climate shocks, and shifting geopolitical influence, clear insights into trends matters more than ever.
At PDRI-DevLab@Penn, our Machine Learning for Peace (MLP) team transforms local news reporting into structured data for policymakers and researchers.
Today, we’re launching three public dashboards:
Users can move from global to country-level views, follow trends over time, compare countries, and analyze patterns using built-in analytical tools.
For example: examine how legal pressure on civil society evolves before and after elections, compare foreign influence across world regions, or track environmentally-induced displacement over time.
Together, these dashboards create high-impact analytical infrastructure for early warning, evidence-based policy decisions, and cross-country comparative research on civic space, security, and climate.
Methodological documentation and indicator definitions are available on each dashboard page. We welcome feedback and collaboration inquiries.
