Harvard’s PhD candidate joins PDRI for the academic year

Pablo Balan (Harvard) is spending this academic year as a PDRI pre-doc visiting scholar. He specializes in the political economy of developing countries, with a substantive focus on state capacity and social networks, and a regional focus on Sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America.
