PDRI Affiliate Susanna Berkouwer publishes results from COVID-19 study in Kenya

In the ICG article entitled Money or power? Choosing COVID-19 aid in Kenya, PDRI Affiliate Susanna Berkouwer and coauthors discuss the results of an experiment on demand for cash transfers and electricity subsidies in urban Kenya. The authors find that participants prefer cash, rather than more costly vouchers for services and short-term liquidity.
