Shaquilla Harrigan
Shaquilla Harrigan is a PhD Student in the Sociology department at the University of Pennsylvania and a 2019-2020 Perry World House Graduate Associate. Shaquilla is a recipient of the Jackie Robinson Foundation Extra Innings Fellowship for her academic achievements and dedication to public service. Her research interests include transnational NGO governance, organizational behavior, racial & gender inequalities, international education, and African studies.
Previously, Shaquilla was a Princeton in Africa Fellow with African Women in Agricultural Research and Development (Nairobi, Kenya) and the Service to Society Fellow at Harvard College. Outside of her research, Shaquilla volunteers with an organization that helps connect recent African and Caribbean immigrants and refugees to resources. Shaquilla received her BA in Social Studies from Harvard University.
